Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Automation QA Engineer to join the Mobile Software QA team to help us ensure we are able to consistently ship a high-quality Android app. The Mobile team ensures that all software meets internal and external standards and meets user needs before we ship anything to customers. This role is critical to protecting Company’s reputation and ensuring we are able to continue improving health outcomes. Specifically, we are looking for QA Engineers who have experience working in the domain of Android apps.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

  • Automation of test cases, to support regression testing.
  • Document quality assurance activities so that others can help perform manual testing.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify opportunities to build our confidence in releasing our software products.
  • Build and configure the interfaces required to support test activities.
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Two or more years experience working in a quality assurance role as an automation engineer.
  • Two or more years of experience writing and maintaining automated Android tests using the Espresso framework.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering team throughout agile development process from product definition to post-release validation.
  • Experience executing manual tests on mobile devices.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance of all the test plans, and update them to include customer feedback and new use cases.
  • Work alongside other QA specialists on the team to suggest and consistently apply best practices.


Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t):

  • Comfortable working with iOS and Web to verify acceptance criteria across platforms.
  • Experience in testing software applications with integrated hardware components
