About the Role:

We are looking for a young and dynamic number wizard to join our team in Gurgaon. The Strategic Financial Analyst will work closely with the Director South Asia and other Senior Management team as a trusted partner who provides critical insights to inform our strategic and operational decisions. This is high impact and high visibility role.

Responsibilities:

Financial Modelling;

- Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models to support a wide range of business decisions, including scenario analysis, investment evaluations, and long-term strategic planning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models reflect accurate assumptions and incorporate real-time data, while continuously refining them to adapt to evolving business needs.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the development and oversight of annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts, working closely with department heads to align projections with operational goals and market conditions.

- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize resource allocation and maintain financial discipline over both short- and long-term horizons.

Management and Executive Reporting:

- Create and deliver comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to the needs of management and executive leadership.

- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions with confidence and clarity.

Revenue and Pipeline Analysis and Forecasting:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue streams, sales pipeline performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to produce reliable revenue forecasts.

- Partner with sales and marketing teams to assess deal flow, conversion rates, and market trends, delivering insights that drive revenue growth strategies and improve forecasting accuracy.

Headcount Analysis and Planning:

- Evaluate current and future staffing requirements by analysing headcount costs, productivity metrics, and organizational growth plans.

- Work collaboratively with HR and department leaders to develop workforce budgets, model hiring scenarios, and ensure headcount investments align with financial objectives and operational capacity.

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) Analysis:

- Analyse customer acquisition costs across marketing campaigns, sales channels, and customer segments to assess efficiency and return on investment.

- Provide detailed recommendations to optimize spend, improve CAC payback periods, and enhance overall profitability, while tracking trends over time to inform marketing and sales strategies.

Cash Flow Management and Analysis:

- Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure liquidity and support operational needs, capital investments, and debt obligations. Analyse cash flow drivers, identify potential risks, and recommend strategies to optimize working capital, providing visibility into the company's financial health and runway.

Strategic Initiative Support:

- Partner with leadership to evaluate and quantify the financial impact of new business initiatives, partnerships, or market expansions.

- Perform cost-benefit analyses, assess risks, and provide data-driven insights to guide prioritization and execution of high-impact projects that align with the company's strategic vision.

Process Improvement and Tool Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency through automation or adoption of new tools.

- Leverage expertise in financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools) to design scalable solutions that support the finance team's evolving needs and reduce manual workloads.
