On-Page SEO Execution Responsibilities- Execute day-to-day SEO tasks as per the approved SEO roadmap Implement on-page recommendations such as: Meta titles & descriptions Header tags (H1–H6) Internal linking Image optimization (alt text, compression) URL optimization and redirects Coordinate with the website/development team for SEO implementations Verify and QA on-site changes implemented by the website team Maintain trackers for: On-page updates SEO fixes implemented Pending SEO tasks Assist in content optimization from an SEO perspective Support technical SEO audits using tools (under guidance) Success Metrics Timely execution of assigned SEO tasks Reduction in on-page SEO errors Improvement in keyword rankings and page performance 2. Off-Page SEO & Link Building Responsibilities- Perform competitor backlink analysis to identify link opportunities Build and maintain a backlink tracker including: URLs Anchor text Domain metrics Link status Identify, shortlist, and outreach to relevant websites, blogs, and publishers Follow up with webmasters and content owners to secure backlinks Support negotiation and closure of link placements (as per guidelines) Maintain and update a database of webmaster and publisher contacts across niches Ensure link quality aligns with SEO best practices (white-hat only) Success Metrics Number of quality backlinks acquired Improvement in domain authority and referral traffic Accuracy and hygiene of link trackers 3. SEO Campaign & Promotion Support Responsibilities- Support SEO-led campaigns, content promotions, and seasonal initiatives Track SEO impact of campaigns on rankings and organic traffic Assist in keyword research for blogs, landing pages, and campaigns Share execution updates and performance insights with the team 4. Reporting & Documentation Responsibilities- Maintain SEO trackers, reports, and documentation Assist in preparing weekly/monthly SEO performance reports Record and circulate MoMs for internal SEO discussions when required Ensure all SEO work is properly documented and traceable Success Metrics Accuracy and timeliness of reports Clear documentation of tasks and outcomes 5. Collaboration & Learning Responsibilities- Work closely with: Content team Web/development team Follow SEO best practices and internal quality standards Continuously learn and upskill on SEO tools, updates, and trendsRequired Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail and execution focus Basic analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow processes and meet timelines Clear written and verbal communication Willingness to learn and adapt to new toolsTools & Platforms (Working Knowledge): Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush / Ahrefs Screaming Frog CMS platforms (WordPress or similar) Google Docs, Sheets, Slides / Excel, PowerPoint
