We are looking for an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to lead deployments, drive process optimizations, and support AMS initiatives for our clients. This role requires a strong functional background in Workday US Payroll, with a focus on compliance, integration, and post-production support. Knowledge of HCM Core, Absence and Time Tracking modules is highly advantageous given the modules' interdependencies.As part of the growing E1 Consulting team, you will work with global clients, providing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Workday US Payroll implementations, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
• Optimize and support post-production setups for Payroll, focusing on compliance, defect resolution, and process efficiencies.
• Assess client needs, provide expert recommendations, and deliver tailored solutions that align with their organizational goals.
• Stay updated with Workday’s US Payroll functionalities and ensure alignment with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with offshore configuration teams and manage global stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and task execution.
• Share insights and lessons learned from previous projects to guide client decision-making and ensure project success.
• Provide mentoring and subject matter expertise to internal teams to elevate organizational knowledge.
• Stay engaged with the Workday ecosystem, contributing to knowledge-sharing forums and thought leadership activities.
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of Workday experience with a proven track record in US Payroll and related modules (Core, Absence, Benefits and Time Tracking).
• Certification in Workday US Payroll and HCM Core (or equivalent Pro-certifications).
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full Workday project lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Strong consultative skills with the ability to guide client discussions and deliver practical solutions.
• Experience supporting AMS/post-production optimization, including handling enhancements and issue management.
• Prior experience leading and collaborating with offshore teams, including managing configuration and support work.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
