Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineering Project Manager at Susha Founders & Engineers in Surat. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project engineering activities, Starting from Order Receipt to Dispatch.


Qualifications

  • B-Tech Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics + MBA (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Engineering Management and Project Management skills
  • Project Engineering expertise
  • Experience in handling projects – 8-10 years
  • Experience in Machine manufacturing industry must.
  • Understanding of Engineering Drawings must
  • Basic knowledge of Machine building, Automation, PLC, AC drives, Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  • Able to communicate with customers & manage projects.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Computer Skills – MS Word, MS Office, MS PowerPoint


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manages the projects from order receipt to dispatch. He will be the face of customer.
  • Communicates the requirements of new projects in detail with the internal departments.
  • Works closely with all internal departments to ensure that the projects meets timeline by maintaining proper communication.
  • Ensures that the machines are dispatched as per its complete scope.
  • Project costing & estimation
  • Be a leader in Implementing 5S, TQM & process improvements.
  • Attends customers during inspection/trails at our works
  • Maintains proper documentation (checklist, pictures, etc) of manufactured machines.
  • Lead continuous process improvement & systems update throughout the organization.
  • Any other relevant duty as assigned by the Management. Duties to be updated time to time depending on company’s requirement.
  • Timely update to the top management about each project update.
