Area Operations Manager – Cafes

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Area Operations Manager with a background in managing coffee chains/QSR outlets. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple café locations across Bangalore, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong staff performance, and high customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations across multiple café outlets in Bangalore, ensuring brand SOPs are followed. - Staff Hiring & Training: Recruit, train, and manage café staff (baristas, supervisors, support staff) to maintain service standards. - Inventory & Supply Chain: Monitor stock levels, manage vendor coordination, and ensure efficient inventory usage to minimise wastage. - Store Audits: Conduct regular audits of cafes (hygiene, quality, compliance, customer service, and cash handling). - Reporting: Prepare operational reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas of improvement. - Travel: Frequent travel across Bangalore outlets to monitor and support store teams.Requirements:- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations management with a coffee chain/QSR brand. - Strong experience in staff hiring, training, and team management. - Knowledge of inventory management systems and operational audits. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable with field travel across multiple café outlets in Bangalore. - Mandatory: Candidate must own a 2-wheeler vehicle with a valid license for intra-city travel.-Perks & Benefits:- Competitive salary + performance-based incentives. - Opportunity to work with a fast-growing coffee brand. - Career growth into regional and national operations leadership roles.
