Job Description :Business Systems Analysts serve as a focal point of contact between IT and business, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into workable technological solutions.Preferred skills :- Adept at understanding business needs, analyzing processes, and designing systems that enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance- Have a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of both technical and business domains- Experience in projects wherein organizations went through digital transformations, optimizing system functionalities- Strong organizational skills, strategic problem-solving ability, effective communicator across all levels- Excellent verbal and written English, communication skills- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.- Decisiveness (Competent)- Communication (Competent)- Customer Service Orientation (Competent)- Fast Cycle (Competent)- Work Standards / Quality Orientation (Competent)Qualifications :- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering & Mathematics- More than 5 years or more experience in business systems analysis and design, testing- General conceptual understanding of programming, DB querying, APIs, cloud; knowing Oracle PL SQL, or MS SQL, mySQL are a plus.- With background in Banking, Financial and Life Insurance business- Certification in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban are a plus.- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira, ConfluenceResponsibilities :- Understanding and documenting the business requirements of stakeholders to guide the creation of effective technology solutions- Translating business needs into system requirements and ensuring that these are clearly communicated to development teams- Conducting thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization- Support solutioning with thorough systems analysis and design based on reviewed business requirements following the recommended technology- Facilitating communication between business units and IT teams to ensure mutual understanding and project alignment- Developing and executing test plans to ensure that systems and processes are functioning as intended- Creating detailed reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data, mapping out processes, and identifying patterns or trends in behavior or experience that can be used for future business requirements or improvements- Providing training and support to users on new or updated systems and processes- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure that business goals are met- Monitoring system performance post-implementation and resolving any issues that arise- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in the banking, financial or insurance industry (ref:hirist.tech)
