Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

♦ Analyze Gitea Customization Needs: Assess our project requirements and determine the necessary customizations in the Gitea platform to fulfill these needs.

♦ Customization Development: Develop Golang code to customize the Gitea platform. This may include creating plugins, extending functionalities, and integrating with other systems.

♦ Gitea API Integration: Integrate Gitea with other tools and systems, and ensure seamless data flow and communication.

♦ Performance Optimization: Optimize Gitea's performance to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience for our team.

♦ Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure that our Gitea instance is compliant with our security standards and industry regulations.

♦ Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of customizations, plugins, and integrations for easy reference by the team.

♦ Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that Gitea customizations align with project goals.

♦ Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Golang and Gitea developments, incorporating the latest best practices and technologies into our projects.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).


♦ Proven hands-on experience as a Golang developer, with a strong understanding of the language.

♦ In-depth knowledge of Gitea and its customization capabilities.

♦ Proficiency in working with Git and version control systems.

♦ Experience with API integration and RESTful web services.

♦ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

♦ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

♦ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

♦ Familiarity with software development best practices and coding standards.

♦ Security-conscious mindset with knowledge of best security practices.

♦ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.



Nice to Have:

♦ JavaScript knowledge

♦ Java knowledge

♦ Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

♦ Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

♦ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
