This role is perfect for an expert in Core Java and modern microservices frameworks who is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable cloud-hosted solutions. You will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers to drive our architecture and implementation practices forward, ensuring our systems are robust, efficient, and scalable.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and design solutions using Core Java (JDK 8+), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and REST-based Microservices.- Designing and integrating software architecture into Java-based applications - Working with business analysts, project managers, and clients to understand business needs and align technical solutions with business goals - Staying up-to-date on Java developments and evaluating new technologies to determine their suitability for projects - Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, and optimizing code and algorithms - Assessing security risks and implementing security measures to ensure Java applications comply with security best practices - Documenting the architecture, design decisions, and technical solutions of Java-based systems - Leverage cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) to host and support scalable applications.- Utilize CI/CD toolchains (Git, Junit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) to enhance development workflows and deployment pipelines.- Lead the integration of Container Orchestration and Kubernetes for seamless deployments and scaling.- Employ observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting in complex cloud environments.- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of web protocols, web services, and REST APIs.- Provide expertise in data management with proficiency in at least one SQL database and NoSQL database, such as Cassandra.- Act as a resourceful researcher and connect with cross-functional teams to adopt and implement best practices.- Apply cloud and automation engineering skills within mission-critical environments, employing scripting knowledge in Python or Groovy for automation.- Maintain an inquisitive approach, with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and recommend new technologies and solutions.- Collaborate with small, focused teams to guide initiatives from design to implementation, supporting post-release monitoring and operational support.
