Overview of the position

We are setting up a multi feed bio ethanol distillery in Rajgoli which would have the capability to use sugar syrup, molasses and various grains for distillation and expanding the crush capacity of the existing Sugar Unit. This would significantly expand the agri commodity exposure of this operation.

In view of the same, there are significant commercial exposures and risks which will have to be profitably managed in the proposed project which would require a seasoned agri commodity professional with procurement/trading experience in animal feed ingredients like maize, grains and proteins to be in place to manage the above critical areas for the business.

This position would report to the Business Head/Unit Head.

Key Accountability Areas

• Maximize Byproducts realization – Work with production to optimize quality as per market requirements, sales at the best possible prices
• Distillery feedstock procurement as per the requirement based on the production plan at the best prices with right quality as per schedule
• Bagasse procurement at the best prices as per requirement

Requirements

The incumbent should have proven experience as a “self starter” with a strong element of dynamism and the ability to move fast and get things done. Should have the stature and the maturity that commands the respect of his peers.

• MBA with specialization in agribusiness management(preferred)
• 8 to 12 Years in Animal, Poultry and Aqua feed industry having experience of procuring various feed ingredients particularly Maize, grains and proteins.
• Should have strong commercial orientation.
• Have an ownership mindset And desire to run the Show Independently.
• Have very good people management, communication, and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate with and influence a matrix of internal and external customers at varied levels.
