Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cosmos Blockchain Developer to architect, develop, and maintain a Cosmos-based side-chain utilizing the Cosmos SDK. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cosmos SDK, Tendermint consensus, and a strong background in building and deploying blockchains or decentralized applications. You will be responsible for implementing and customizing modules for governance, staking, and consensus, as well as ensuring the performance and security of validator nodes. Additionally, you will collaborate with Rust developers to integrate CosmWasm smart contracts and optimize the blockchain for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop a Cosmos-based side-chain using the Cosmos SDK.
  • Implement and customize blockchain modules for governance, staking, and consensus.
  • Set up and maintain validator nodes, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Integrate IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocols for seamless cross-chain asset transfers.
  • Work closely with Rust developers to integrate CosmWasm smart contracts.
  • Optimize the blockchain for scalability, performance, and minimal transaction fees.
  • Ensure security of the blockchain through code audits, testing, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to manage infrastructure, including node monitoring and upgrades.


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Cosmos SDK and Tendermint consensus.
  • Proven track record of building and deploying blockchains or decentralized applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Go (Golang).
  • Deep understanding of cross-chain technologies like IBC.
  • Familiarity with governance models, tokenomics, and validator node operations.
  • Experience with blockchain security and best practices.
