Description :We are looking for a WordPress Tech Lead with 8+ years of experience who possesses excellent leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a deep technical understanding of WordPress development.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor the WordPress development team, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.- Lead the development of complex custom-built WordPress websites, including architecture planning, custom theme/plugin development, and advanced API integrations.- Conduct code reviews, set best practices, and provide technical upskilling to the team- Proactively identify and suggest internal tools, process improvements, or experimental projects to make use of low utilization periods- Take ownership of R&D efforts during bench time by utilizing the team's expertise towards plugin research, performance audits, new theme boilerplate, or development of reusable component librariesRequired Skills & Qualifications :- 8+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.- Strong expertise in WordPress theme development & customization.- Proven experience in WordPress plugin development & customization.- Strong knowledge of ACF, WooCommerce, AJAX, and custom post types.- Solid grasp of frontend fundamentals, including MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs JavaScript/ES6, and ability to work closely with UI/UX teams.- Experience with Gutenberg block development.- Knowledge of headless WordPress implementation using RestAPI or GraphQL- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce best practices.- Proficiency in performance optimization techniques such as caching, lazy loading, and asset minification.- Expertise in security best practices for WordPress websites.- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.- Ability to lead and mentor a development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with international clients.
