Assistant Maintenance Manager-IC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support international Maintenance Managers and Planners from the Pune office.
  • Provide on-site support for 4-8 weeks of international travel (for budgets, audits, holiday backups, or periodic needs).
  • Set up Planned Maintenance Schedules for heavy equipment in SAP EAMS/PM:
  • Measurements, triggers, work orders, tasks, sequences, materials, and reject criteria.
  • Monitor planned maintenance compliance.
  • Track equipment and spare part availability.
  • Prepare annual and monthly maintenance budgets.
  • Address data discrepancies in master data, work order routing, and materials.
  • Adhere to SLAs based on business requirements.
  • Communicate effectively via email, telephone, and MS Teams.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs on the above tasks.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

  • Functional knowledge of:

-Equipment Maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes.

-Warehouse and spare part replenishment processes.

  • Additional skills (good to have):

-Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance).

-Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

-Project management and stakeholder communication.

-Multi-business area investigation and solution orientation.

-Process-oriented mindset and a focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and inform stakeholders of progress.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years in Planned Maintenance.
  • Proficiency in SAP-MM and SAP-EAMS/PM.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Communication:

  • Excellent English (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Timely follow-ups with clients and stakeholders.
