Description :About the Role :We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in legacy versions of the .NET framework.This is a deployment-critical role that requires immediate onboarding.The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise-grade applications using older .NET technologies.You will be working onsite (5 days a week) at our Perungalathur, Chennai location, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of key project components.Key Responsibilities :- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework.- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.- Work closely with architects and team leads to design scalable and maintainable solutions.- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues related to legacy codebases.- Ensure high-performance and responsiveness of applications.- Collaborate with team members to follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure code quality.- Provide support in deployment activities and immediate post-deployment stabilization.Required Skills & Experience :- 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.- Strong command over older versions of the .NET framework (e.g., .NET Framework 2.0 to 4.5).- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms or Web Forms.- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.- Experience working with SQL Server and writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.- Familiarity with version control tools such as TFS or SVN.- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Nice to Have :- Experience with migration projects from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.- Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment tools (ref:hirist.tech)
