Programme Coordinator

Requisite Qualification : 1. Bachelors in a relevant field with 1 - 3 years of experience. Knowledge of branding & communication with basic project management skills is highly desired. 2. Graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools/software Strong interpersonal skills, mentoring skills, facilitation skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, time management skills, documentation skills, problem solving skills and leadership skills. 3. Self-motivation and initiating; should be responsible and able to generate work. 4. Knowledge about the Development Sector.Requisite Experience:1-3 years of experience.Other specific required Skills for the Role :Language: Should be fluent in writing and speaking Hindi and EnglishJob Description: 1. Intern & Volunteer Management: ● Develop and implement an effective onboarding and training program for interns and volunteers. ● Assign meaningful projects that align with SKV's goals and the individual's skills. ● Provide ongoing mentorship, support, and feedback to maximize their contributions. ● Create a positive and engaging experience to attract and retain talent. 2. Institutional Liaison & Collaboration: ● Identify & build relationships with relevant SVV institutions & other potential partners. ● Facilitate collaborative projects, workshops, and events that benefit both SKV and the partner institutions. ● Negotiate agreements & ensure smooth communication & coordination between parties. ● Explore opportunities for resource sharing, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives. 3. Financial Sustainability & Fundraising: ● Assist in developing and implementing strategies for our income generating activities - Craft courses, Open Studio Tours and Workshops. ● Research, identify and form relations with schools and colleges to offer them these customized courses to inculcate values & awareness in our intangible cultural heritage. ● Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for potential donors. ● Cultivate relationships with donors & maintain open communication about SKV's impact. 4. Outreach Programs (Local, National, International): ● Plan and execute outreach projects to raise awareness of SKV's mission and programs. These programs form the foundation for setting up design programs in various locations. Currently we have ongoing programs locally in Kutch, Ladakh and Bagalkote. ● Develop targeted messaging and materials for different audiences. ● Utilize various channels (social media, events, press releases) to reach a wider audience. ● Build relationships with local communities, government agencies, and international organizations. 5. Content Creation & Digital Marketing: ● Collaborate with Design Craft, and Regional Coordinators to create engaging content (articles, blogs, social media posts, videos). ● Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to increase SKV's online presence. ● Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility. ● Track and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate effectiveness and refine strategies. 6. Branding & Marketing Projects: ● Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity for SKV across all platforms. ● Design and implement marketing campaigns for Outreach programs, Open Studio tours, craft courses and workshops and for our Jury, Convocation and Fashion show. ● Create visually appealing marketing materials (invitations, brochures, flyers, presentations). ● Manage SKV's social media presence and engage with followers.
