Job Title : Deputy Manager – Accounts Department : Accounts & Finance Location : Bhubaneswar About the Role We are looking for aDeputy Manager – Accountswho will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus onAccounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and overall financial management . The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliances, and process management. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manageAccounts Receivable (AR)andAccounts Payable (AP)processes. Ensure timely invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Monitor ageing of receivables and follow up to minimize overdue payments. Verify vendor bills, purchase orders, and payment approvals in coordination with internal departments. Prepare and review balance sheet schedules, ledger reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Generate MIS reports and dashboards on AR/AP and cash flow status for management. Suggest process improvements for efficiency in the accounts department. Supervise a small team and ensure adherence to accounting policies and timelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting. CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred. 5–7 years of experience inAccounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting . Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other compliance-related aspects. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP experience preferred). Good communication and team management skills.
