Job Purpose: This position oversees one of the major technology platforms in Histopathology ie Immunohistochemistry based biomarker development and validation along with ISH & Fluorescence assays. Evaluation of biomarkers on exploratory & clinical samples.

Key Responsibilities: (Maximum 5-8 Points)

• Overseeing of standardization and validation of IHC & ISH assays
• Provide Pathology support to various projects/programs
• Responsible for reporting of clinical trial samples
• Work cohesively as a team of pathologists to support pathology and immunohistochemistry workflows
• Enable and support translational R&D projects in collaboration with network of hospitals
• Work closely with bioinformatics team to build on capabilities required for digital analysis

Educational Qualification: .MD/DNB Pathology

Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points):

• Experience in Oncology and other therapeutic areas like immunology, fibrosis
• Experience with biomarker evaluation of IHC assays
• Knowledge of IHC principles and instrumentation
• Experience in monoplex and multiplex IHC (brightfield and fluorescence-based) assay development and IHC stains in tissues Experience working in a regulated laboratory setting (CAP/NABL or other GxP environment) is highly desirable Experience with lab information management system implementation and validation is a plus Experience with digital image analysis (HALO, ImageJ, Visiopharm, Inform, etc.) of whole-slide histologic and immunohistochemical sections is highly desirable
• Prior experience in research setting is preferred.
• Experience: Around 15-16 yrs hands on experience in histopathology/IHC, working in research settings, academia, corporate(Hospitals/Pharma)
