DDR solutions applications engineer

As a DDR solutions applications engineer, you will work with Synopsys customers worldwide, on silicon-proven DDR Interface IP solutions from Synopsys.

You will provide post-sales support for configuration, integration, simulation, and post-silicon bring up of the latest DDR PHY and Controller as well as HBM IPs. You will work on latest protocols such as DDR5, LPDDR5, LPDDR5X.

This opportunity will require work with a diverse global team of engineers to provide expert product knowledge to Synopsys customers worldwide.

As a part of this team you will also be required to make presentations to customers on the Synopsys DDR offerings as well as have detailed technical presentations on configuration and integration of the Synopsys DDR IPs.

You will also create collateral and author documentation working with internal teams to improve user experience.

Requirements

· Prior experience in any high speed protocol such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet

· Experience in AMBA bus interfaces, AXI

· Knowledge of floor-planning, SI/PI, backend engineering

· Since the role will be working with customers worldwide, excellent communication in English is a must

· Prior experience as an applications engineer is a plus

· Proficient with UNIX, HDL (Verilog/VHDL) and has a strong understanding of ASIC design flow is required

· Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or similar with focus on VLSI design
