TCS present an excellent opportunity for MS -SQL ServerJob Location: Kolkata (Only)Experience required : 9-15 yrsInterview date: 31-Oct-25 (Friday)Must-Have- 5-8 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration. - In-depth knowledge of MySQL versions 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 8 and 8.4. - Install, configure, and maintain MySQL databases to ensure their operational efficiency. - Tune database performance and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and security. - Monitor database performance and proactively address potential issues or bottlenecks. - Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization. - Implement security measures in line with compliance standards and best practices. - Work with software developers to optimize queries and improve database design. - Solid understanding of Unix/Linux system administration related to MySQL. - Proficiency in writing complex shell scripting for automation. - Good communication skills with both technical and management teamsGood-to-Have- Expertise in all major versions of MySQL including Oracle and MariaDB. - Expertise of maintenance/patching mechanics. - Experience in database security auditing and compliance. - Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform tools for database deployment automation. - Hands on Linux and Windows system administration experience is a plus. - MySQL and Cloud certifications are preferred. - Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management procedures.
