Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovation strategies and best practices.
  • Execute business plans and projects.
  • Lead project discovery and high-level design.
  • Supervise a small engineering team.
  • Design low latency services.
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Develop highly scalable micro-services and optimized RESTful APIs.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and team development.
  • Experiment with new technologies and build quick prototypes.
  • Manage code and configurations for multiple environments.
  • Analyze business requirements and participate in agile development processes.
  • Ensure business vision and industry trends are incorporated into solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
  • Experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Mockito.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC tools (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint).
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, or other cloud stacks.
  • Knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and microservices.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Cassandra, MongoDB) and RDBMS (MySQL, AzureSQL, Postgres).
  • Knowledge of OWASP, OAuth2.0, JWT.
  • Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or MQTT.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, data modelling, and RESTful web APIs.
  • Ability to convert product goals into tasks and mentor developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kotlin and Python.
  • Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks like React.js and Angular.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Server-side development experience building RESTful APIs with frameworks like Node.js.
