Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled MicroStrategy Developer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using MicroStrategy.The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in BI development, with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable reports and Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support business decision-making.- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data efficiently from multiple sources.- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Create and manage MicroStrategy metadata objects such as attributes, facts, hierarchies, filters, and metrics.- Develop and implement data models to support BI reporting and analytics needs.- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of BI reports.- Optimize MicroStrategy reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of existing BI solutions.- Document BI development processes, configurations, and standards to maintain knowledge base and facilitate knowledge transfer.- Stay updated with the latest MicroStrategy features, BI trends, and industry best practices.- Work closely with database administrators to ensure smooth data integration and performance Skills and Qualifications : - 3 to 7 years of professional experience as a MicroStrategy Developer or BI Developer.- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries, query optimization, and performance tuning.- Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Desktop, MicroStrategy Web, and MicroStrategy Architect.- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and ETL processes.- Experience in creating MicroStrategy objects : attributes, facts, metrics, filters, and hierarchies.- Ability to design and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights.- Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
