Working Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM



Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic "Sales & Business Development Manager" with a strong background in the sales of raw materials for the Inks or Paints industry at a regional or PAN India level. The ideal candidate should be a proactive, result-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the industry, and an established network with key stakeholders in the Purchase and Technical departments of Inks or Paints manufacturing companies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive sales of raw materials (Emulsions, Resins, Additives, Pigments) used in the Inks or Paints sector across regional or PAN India markets.
  • Identify and target potential clients and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Purchase and Technical departments of Inks/Paints manufacturers to drive business growth.

2. Techno-Commercial Role:

  • Be a Techno-Commercial point of contact, providing solutions and product recommendations to customers based on their specific needs.
  • Possess sound technical knowledge of raw materials (Emulsions, Resins, Additives, Pigments) to effectively communicate product benefits and specifications.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups, particularly on payments and credit control.
  • Regularly meet with customers and clients to understand their needs and provide ongoing support.

4. Coordination with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with internal departments like R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth processing and timely delivery of sales orders.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Travel & Field Work: Open to travel frequently to meet customers, attend client meetings, and represent the company in industry events or exhibitions.

6. Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and adjustments to sales strategies.


Qualification, Skills, Industry Experience:

  • B.Sc / M.Sc. / MBA (Preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields).
  • Candidates must have 7-9 years of experience in Sales, specifically dealing with raw materials like Emulsions, Resins, Additives, or Pigments.
  • Must have experience within the Adhesive, Chemicals, Inks, Emulsions, Resins, Additives, or Pigments industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external clients.
  • Established network and contacts in the Inks/Paints industry.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills, especially concerning payment collection.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and open to frequent travel.
  • Proficient in market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry.
