We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior VMware VCF Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT professional with over 10 years of experience, including a minimum of 8 years of hands-on expertise with VMware technologies.

This role requires a strong background in deploying, managing, and migrating complex VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments within enterprise infrastructure. You will be instrumental in a variety of projects, from greenfield implementations to critical migration and optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design & Implementation : Lead the design, planning, and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions from initial deployment to full operational readiness.

- Migration & Upgrades : Plan and execute complex migrations of virtualized workloads between different environments, including VCF to VCF, leveraging tools like HCX where applicable. Perform in-place VCF upgrades and life cycle management tasks.

- Operations & Optimization : Manage and maintain existing VCF environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Utilize VMware Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations) for advanced monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

- Troubleshooting : Act as a subject matter expert for all VCF-related issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex problems across the stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, etc.).

- Consulting & Mentoring : Provide technical guidance and best practices to clients and internal teams. Mentor junior engineers on VMware technologies and VCF operations.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Experience : 8+ years of hands-on experience with VMware products and solutions.

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) : Extensive experience with VCF implementation and migration projects is a must.

- vSphere : Deep expertise in the design, management, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments.

vSAN : Proven experience with vSAN design, implementation, and operational support.

- Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations) : Hands-on experience with monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity management.

Highly Desirable Skills :

- VMware HCX : Experience with VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension for workload migration.

- VMware Tanzu : Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid integration and management within a VCF environment.

- VCF 9.x : Knowledge of the latest VCF versions, including new features and configurations.

- LThis role requires strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on migration planning and infrastructure optimization.

- Candidates must be available to join with an immediate to short notice period.
