Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced DataStage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL development, Teradata SQL, and data warehousing concepts. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and collaborating with various business teams to deliver robust data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation, with a strong focus on Teradata.

- Apply best practices of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions (SCD), and the design of fact and dimension tables.

- Perform data quality validation, profiling, and reconciliation to ensure the integrity and reliability of data.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and data flow.

- Utilize Python or Shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment to automate processes and enhance ETL workflows.

Required Skills :

- 4 - 6 years of experience in IBM DataStage ETL development.

- Strong SQL skills, with hands-on experience in Teradata preferred.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, SCD, fact/dimension tables).

- Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting and experience with the Unix/Linux operating system.

- Experience in data validation, profiling, and reconciliation.

- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or DataStage Job Sequencer.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
