What’s on offer?
The contract-based role offers a competitive remuneration typically between INR 45,000 - 50,000 per unit (based on term duration, scope of work, committed weekly time, batch size and experience level of the LINC Fellow) when actively engaged, plus up to 40% performance-based incentives. (The study period lasts for 4 weeks.)

The role is part-time (15-20 hours per week) with scheduled weekend availability. Educators will have flexibility to work from a location of their convenience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
LINC Fellows will be responsible for providing:
Subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 postgraduate online students;
Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management;
1:1 and small group tutoring sessions;
Guidance on relevant reference material;
Assessment marking with long form feedback
Management of discussion forums; and
Proactive, prompt and personalized support to student queries and issues.
LINC Fellows will be expected to promptly interact with students over email, or calls / online sessions from locations of their convenience (e.g. home, office etc.).
Key skills:
Deep understanding of network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
Expertise in system security (operating system hardening, vulnerability management)
Knowledge of cryptography, malware analysis,
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and practices
Professional, ethical, and legal issues in systems security
Risk management
Security breach and its repercussions
Security tools like authentication
Access control and cryptographic techniques
Security technologies
Research and security management strategies like risk analysis
Incident handling, maintenance and incident response procedures
Desired candidate profile:
PG/Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a specialization in cyber security with distinction or first-class from a top university in India.
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in Information security roles such as security analyst, penetration tester, or security consultant and teaching experience in any of the field at a leading university or college (Note: At least 3 years formal teaching experience at a university or college is a MUST);
Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures;
Proficient in English language; excellent oral and written communication
Must possess a working laptop and have access to high-speed (>10 MBPS) stable internet connection;
Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students including host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided).
The facilitators are required to deliver lectures between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM IST for a minimum of two hours per session. They should be available for lectures on at least two days per week during this time. Additionally, they should provide email support every day throughout the week following the lectures.
