Job Overview

Virtual Labs Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Data Management (TDM) Assessment and Tool Recommendation expert. This is a contract position for professionals with 7 to 10 years of dedicated experience. The job location includes Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore Urban, and Mysuru. The role requires expertise in TDM, test management, synthetic data, data masking, and TDM tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in Test Data Management, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in managing test data environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of test management processes and tools, ensuring high-quality delivery in complex ecosystems.
  • Experience in generating and handling synthetic data, ensuring data quality and creating realistic testing scenarios.
  • Ability to implement data masking solutions, protecting sensitive information and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Expertise in leading and utilizing various TDM tools like Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, or equivalent, to streamline data management processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess tool compatibility and recommend optimal solutions for business needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments, with a focus on delivering quality and meeting strict deadlines.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment and implementation of test data management strategies that align with business objectives and project requirements.
  • Evaluate existing test data environments and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of TDM practices into testing processes.
  • Identify and deploy cost-effective TDM tools that meet current and future testing requirements of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on TDM methodologies and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure data security and compliance through the implementation of robust data masking techniques and protocols.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for team members to foster knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
  • Provide expert consultation on TDM best practices, acting as a trusted advisor within the organization.
