Role Overview

The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction, road-map, and performance of Pepagora’s B2B marketplace platform. This role requires a dynamic leader with a customer-first mindset and a strategic approach to product management. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and UX teams, you will help drive Pepagora’s growth through successful product launches, continual enhancements, and market responsiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute product strategies aligned with Pepagora’s mission to drive business growth and customer satisfaction, setting a clear vision for the platform’s evolution.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Conduct in-depth market research and user analysis to understand SMB needs, trends, and competition, transforming insights into impactful product decisions.
  • Road-map Planning: Define and manage the product road-map, prioritize features, and maintain the product backlog, aligning decisions with customer feedback, market shifts, and business priorities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to gather and prioritize detailed product requirements, aligning with business and customer goals.
  • Product Development & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, QA) to deliver high-quality products on schedule, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and resource efficiency.
  • Go-to-Market & Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches, including go-to-market strategy, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement activities for maximum impact and customer engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track product performance metrics, analyze usage data, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate strong communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on product vision, goals, and priorities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, strategy, and road-map to internal teams, partners, and customers, driving engagement and alignment across the board.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product life-cycle to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide product team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Required Skills and Experience

Experience

  • 5+ Years: Proven track record of successfully managing B2B products or platforms, with a focus on marketplaces or e-commerce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Hands-on experience working with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to execute on product vision.


Technical Expertise

  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools like Jira to manage workflows and sprints.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Ability to conduct in-depth market research, assess competitive landscape, and identify emerging trends in the B2B and e-commerce space.


Leadership & Communication

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of effectively influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams, promoting best practices and innovation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.


Additional Requirements

  • B2B Marketplace or E-Commerce Experience: Direct experience with B2B marketplace platforms or e-commerce solutions.
  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of international trade, B2B trade, SMEs, supply chain management, or logistics is a plus.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel occasionally as required.
