Life on the teamComputacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Network Security Professionals, to bring maturity to their existing operational risk approach. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in enterprise Network Security and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan. Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role, build a culture of strong Network team and advance their career within Computacenter.What you'll do- Ownership and responsibility for the delivery of networking projects - Consult with business to capture and gather requirements. - Produce high and low level detailed designs. - Deployment of network technologies into production using CIS and other industry standards - Connectivity – MPLS/SD WAN/IPSEC/DSL - VPN - Remote Access/Authentication/Firewalls - LAN – Wireless/Wired/QoS - Datacentre – ACI switching and routing - Implementation of Carrier services into Cisco ACI based datacentre architecture. - Recommendations of solutions and ideas. - Inputting details into and updating project plans. - Tier 3 escalation resource for incident resolution. - Consult with various technology support groups as part of problem resolution efforts. - Proactively evaluate network environments using various management tools. - Assess vulnerabilities, identify and implement mitigation plans. - Contribute to enterprise network strategy/solutions development and technology refresh efforts. - Provide input to network enterprise design standards and maintain network topology diagrams. - Participate in technology integration efforts with other engineering and support teams. - Provide direct support of audit and ad hoc consulting engagements. - Ensure compliance with departmental and enterprise security configuration standards. - Manage and govern relationships with technology vendors utilised in the enterprise network. - Provide Technical leadership and guidance to other and junior personnel.What you'll need- Proficiency with Cisco security products, including Cisco ISE, ASA, FTD, and WSA. - Familiarity with other security products, such as Fortinet and Palo Alto are a plus. - Strong knowledge of access control, firewall policies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Understanding of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security) are a plus. - Effective communication and teamwork skillsAbout usWith over 20,000 employees across the globe, we work at the heart of digitisation, advising organisations on IT strategy, implementing the most appropriate technology, and helping our customers to source, transform and manage their technology infrastructure in over 70 countries.
