THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.Location:Pune (Hybrid) – (Once a week in office) Shift:General (IST Hours) Experience:9+ years overall experienceWe are seeking an experiencedQA Manual Tester IVto join our client’s team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications.Primary Skills Web application testing(manual functional and regression testing) API and REST API testingusing tools such asPostmanorBruno UI automationbasics usingSelenium, Cypress, or Playwright Strong understanding oftesting methodologies , defect tracking, and reportingSecondary Skills Performance testingusing tools likeJMeterorBlazeMeter Exposure tomobile application testing Familiarity withAI-based testing toolsor frameworksQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience 9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience Proven experience inmanual testingof web and API-based applications Familiarity withAPI automationusingRestAssured (Java)is a plus Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communicationskills Strong collaboration skills inAgile development environmentsResponsibilities Performmanual testingof web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality. Conductmanual API testingto ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services. Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailedtest plans and test cases . Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution. UtilizePostman/Brunofor API testing and validation. Provideregular testing progress updatesand communicate critical issues effectively. Assist inUI automation testing(Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright). SupportAPI automationinitiatives usingRestAssured (Java) .Ideal Candidate Adetail-oriented professionalwith a passion for delivering high-quality software. Strong understanding ofQA best practicesanddefect management workflows . Acollaborative communicatorwho thrives in a hybrid, cross-functional global team.
