We are looking for a dynamic Technical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team with a focus on client engagement, project management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership & Management:
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities and support career growth within the team.
  1. Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Identify and address project risks, issues, and changes to keep projects on track.
  1. Client Engagement & Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and incorporating their feedback into project execution.
  • Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and performance metrics to clients and senior management.
  1. Technical Oversight:
  • Provide high-level technical guidance and ensure that engineering solutions meet quality standards and client specifications (Good to Have not mandatory)
  • Review technical designs and documentation to ensure they are aligned with project requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, advising on their potential impact on projects.
  1. Strategic Planning & Process Improvement:
  • Contribute to the development of engineering strategies and processes that enhance team performance and project outcomes.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  1. Billing & Budget Management:
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to oversee billing and invoicing related to client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in a technical or engineering role, with at least 2 years in a technical (any domain is OK) and minimum 2 years in management or leadership position.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of Technology, (software development processes, cloud platforms, or specific tools].
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and practices.
  • Management Skills:
  • Proven experience in managing teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Strong project management skills with a history of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Client Engagement Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience in managing client expectations, addressing concerns, and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
