QA/ Test Engineer

Skills: Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and hands-on data validation skills. The role involves designing and executing test plans, validating large datasets, and ensuring quality across GCP-based solutions.

Role Description

· Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports.

· Perform data-level validations: schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.

· Work extensively with GCP services (especially BigQuery) for data validation.

· Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets.

· Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow), BigQuery and SQL.

· Monitor GCP cloud logs and build dashboards.

· Identify, log, and track defects and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.

· Manage defect triage with various stakeholders.

· Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
