Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Special Sports Coach to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about sports coaching and eager to work with children with disabilities. Prior experience in adaptive sports is not required; we provide comprehensive training to help you become a skilled coach for children with diverse needs. You will play a critical role in helping children improve their physical and emotional well-being through tailored sports programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach children with disabilities, using adaptive sports techniques to cater to their unique needs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing personalized sports programs for each child, focusing on skill-building, coordination, and fitness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, volunteers, and other coaches, to create a holistic approach to each child's progress.
  • Monitor the progress of children and provide feedback to parents, therapists, and the academy team.
  • Support in organizing and coordinating inclusive sports events, workshops, and competitions.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the academy’s programs through feedback and innovation.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to your coaching responsibilities, such as recording attendance and maintaining equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for working with children, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Basic knowledge of sports and a willingness to learn adaptive sports techniques.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to undergo training in adaptive sports.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and evenings as per the academy’s schedule.
