The candidate will develop application code for motor controller applications.Designation: Senior Firmware EngineerLocation: Bengaluru, India - OnsitePosition Type: Full TimeResponsibilities:- Ownership of Embedded ASW (Embedded Application Software Development) related to various Motor control applications (i.e.) Electric Vehicle(EV) 2W/3W/4W, Industrial. - Hands-on professional experience with Motor Control algorithms for SynRM, PMSM, and BLDC - FOC/Trapezoidal - Sensored or Sensorless. - Analyse, design, and implement solutions based on customer application requirements. - Integration of HAL (BSW), Middleware, and Communication stack (CAN, RS485, UDS, etc) across different products and projects. - Developing modular and highly optimized Embedded C code adhering to Automotive compliances and standards i.e. ISO26262, ASPICE. Collaborate with the Firmware verification and validation team. - Develop and integrate telemetry to make our solutions powerful and intelligent with predictive maintenance and data analytics.Skills and Experience:- 4-6 years of experience in Embedded Firmware/Software development for Automotive/Motor Control Applications. (Mandatory) - Hands-on experience and deep understanding in Embedded C, Data Structure & Algorithms. Candidates should be comfortable in debugging code to root cause the logical errors. - Extensive engineering experience in software development with a proven track record of at least one product from concept to production. - Desirable to have any prior experience with microcontrollers from TI, NXP, Renesas, etc and peripherals such as ADC, PWM Timers, CAN, UART etc. - Ability to translate mathematical concepts to executable code in resource-constrained microcontroller environments. - Exposure to debugging using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, signal generators, etc. - Experience working with analysis tools like LDRA or Polyspace for Static Code Analysis - Hands-on working experience on automotive standards like MISRA C, ISO26262.Qualifications:- B.E/M.E - EE, CS, ME, EI (or equivalent) from a reputed institution with 4-6 years of related experience. - Strong fundamentals in physics, mathematical modelling and engineering. - Understanding of system interfaces, Power Electronics, Motors, Embedded Software. - Knowledge of vehicle architecture, preferably in EV. - Hands-on experience with Motor Controller - Algorithms or Application development.Character Traits:- Proactive - Problem solver - Committed and motivated - Inquisitive and eager to learn - Clarity of thinking - Sense of urgency - Can-do attitude - Team playerWhat you get:- Attractive salary - Opportunity to work on India’s indigenous EV Powertrain systems from scratch - Opportunity to work in fast-paced startup environment and grow across multiple domains - Fast-tracked career growth
