Role description :

- Design, development and maintenance of microservices in an event driven microservices architecture (EDMA)

- Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, and HR Systems product owners and cross-functional teams to design and implement new integrations using messaging & streaming platform

- Ensure high-quality code by writing unit and integration tests

- Manage AWS infrastructure and implement scalable solutions

- Implement real-time data streaming using Kafka

- Integrate with enterprise applications and data platforms

- Work with BU and Corporate Function stakeholders to de- ne requirements and provide technical recommendations

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience

- Experience with Kafka, and other messaging and streaming systems

- Strong working knowledge of API development standards like REST/GraphQL protocol, pagination, throttling, caching and routing mechanisms.

- Solid Hands-on full stack coding experience with a preferable skill set of Java & Spring boot, Python, GO, RDBMS.

- Strong experience in building integration patterns - Publish-Subscribe, Request-Response, Event Sourcing, etc. and building ESB platform using messaging & streaming platform

- Hands on experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems

- Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.

- Ability to learn quickly, pivot, visualize and own a feature end-to-end.

- Experience working with Cloud platforms development e.g. AWS/ Kubernetes/Container platforms-based development

- An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).

- Basic understanding of AI/ML core concepts.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP), JIRA/Confluence and multi-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Data Analysts)

- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
