We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales professional to join our lending sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients in need of lending products and services. As a Sales Hunter, you will leverage your knowledge of the lending industry to uncover opportunities, build strong relationships with prospects, and drive revenue growth through new business acquisition.
What You'll Do:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Actively seek out new clients and business opportunities through cold calls, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients in need of various lending products (LOS / LMS).
- Research and identify new market segments, target industries, and regions to expand the customer base.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy aimed at acquiring new clients and driving sales in the lending space.
- Qualify leads by understanding client needs, budget, and decision-making processes.
- Create customized sales presentations and proposals to address the specific requirements of potential clients.
Relationship Building and Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Use consultative sales techniques to understand client pain points and provide lending solutions that meet their financial needs.
- Deliver compelling pitches and follow up consistently to maintain engagement with prospects.
Product Knowledge and Solution Selling:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's lending products and services, including eligibility criteria, loan structures, interest rates, and terms.
- Provide expert advice to clients on available lending options, helping them make informed decisions about financing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position the company's solutions.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Drive the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Negotiate loan terms, rates, and conditions to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close deals in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the lending operations, underwriting, and customer support teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery of services.
- Provide accurate and timely feedback to internal teams regarding customer requirements, objections, and feedback.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Track sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Report on sales performance and progress towards targets on a regular basis to management.
- Provide detailed forecasts of sales pipelines and revenue projections.
Who You'll Have To Be:
- 2+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or lending industry.
- Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and closing high-value deals.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a competitive environment.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- In-depth knowledge of lending products, loan processes, and financial solutions.
- Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with new clients.
- High level of resilience, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive outlook.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing market conditions.
