Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video and Motion Graphics Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing Rang De’s stories to life through engaging video content and motion graphics. From conceptualizing to editing, your work will inspire audiences, amplify Rang De’s impact, and encourage social investments.

Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing

● Edit and produce high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, events, YouTube series, investor updates, and more.

● Enhance storytelling by assembling raw footage, sound, graphics, and special effects seamlessly.

● Create teaser videos, highlight reels, and promotional edits to increase reach and engagement.

2. Motion Graphics Design:

● Design and animate motion graphics, including text animations, infographics, logo animations, and transitions.

● Develop templates and reusable assets for quick and consistent production.

3.Creative Ideation & Conceptualization:

● Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize video ideas and motion graphic treatments that align with Rang De’s mission and brand voice.

● Stay updated with creative trends and bring fresh ideas to the table to make the content stand out.

4. Post-Production Management:

● Manage timelines and workflows for multiple video projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within deadlines.

● Organize and archive video content systematically for future use.

5. Optimizing for Platforms:

● Edit videos tailored to various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, , etc.), including vertical, square, and landscape formats.

● Ensure content is optimized for SEO, thumbnails, and engagement.

6. Storytelling with Impact:

● Collaborate with field teams to transform on-ground stories of Rang De’s investees into compelling video narratives that resonate with viewers and drive social impact.

Skills & qualifications:

● Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer with a strong portfolio of work.

● Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

● Expertise in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics design.

● Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation.

● Ability to conceptualize and execute projects independently or in a team

● Strong sense of visual aesthetics, rhythm, and pacing to craft engaging narratives.

● Experience in color grading, sound editing, and using special effects to elevate video quality.

● Familiarity with optimizing videos for social media platforms.

● Passion for social impact storytelling, creativity, and a willingness to experiment.

● Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

● Experience working with nonprofits, social enterprises, or purpose-driven brands.

● Understanding of rural India’s dynamics and a passion for creating impact-driven content.

● Knowledge of basic animation and illustration for dynamic storytelling.

● Experience in working on large campaigns, YouTube series, or documentaries.
