Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Scheme Tester with authorization testing experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Visa and MasterCard scheme testing, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of authorization processes along with mandatory expertise in ISO8583 standards.

Skills Required:

  • Automation Testing using Java
  • Hands on experience in Visa and MasterCard Scheme Simulator Testing
  • Proficiency in ISO8583 standards for testing and validating transaction messaging formats.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for various schemes and authorization processes.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Postman, Jira, Swagger, SQL query etc.
  • Hands on experience in Scheme online / Offline certification or Scheme Compliance Testing

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed testing of Visa and MasterCard schemes, ensuring compliance with their specific requirements and protocols.
  • Conduct authorization testing to ensure the integrity and compliance of transaction processes.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for Visa and MasterCard schemes and authorization processes.
  • Utilize expertise in ISO8583 standards to test and validate transaction messaging formats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design effective testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in authorization processes.
  • Provide detailed reports and analysis of test results to Project Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with regulations and standards set by Visa, MasterCard, and other payment schemes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with changes and updates in payment schemes and advanced authorization testing techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience in Visa and MasterCard scheme testing.
  • Strong knowledge of various payment schemes and their specific requirements.
  • Expertise in ISO8583 standards is a must.
  • Familiarity with EMV standards and related authorization protocols.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Quality Center, Jira, SoapUI, and others.
