Job Title: Senior Linux AdministratorExperience Required:5–8 Years Work Location:Hyderabad ( Work From Office) Shift:24/7 rotational shiftJob Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Linux Administratorto manage and support enterprise-scale Linux environments across multiple distributions including RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky, and Alma Linux. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in system administration, automation, clustering, and container technologies.Primary Responsibilities: Administer and maintain various Linux distributions:RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux Implement and managePacemaker High Availability (HA) Clusters Performpatch management . Create and managepartitions, LVMs , and mount file systems Configure and manageyum repositories , performkernel upgradesandminor OS version updates Troubleshoot Linux servers running onvirtual platforms Perform scheduled operations such aslog rotation ,cron jobmanagement, andautomated tasks Monitor and tuneserver performance , analyze logs and resolve performance bottlenecks ApplyITIL best practicesin incident, request, problem, and change management Configure and secure systems usingiptables ,TCP wrappers , and host-level firewall settings Install and configure services:FTP, Samba, NFS (server/client), DNS, HTTPD/Apache, LDAP Manage DNS entries and host records usingDNS portals Automate tasks usingShell ScriptingandAnsible Playbooks Performsystem backupsusing tar, rsync, scp, gzip, etc. Work in24/7 support model , primarily duringNorth America shifts Prepareincident reports (IRs)and root cause analysis documentation Supportproject buildandBAU operationsfor large-scale infrastructureRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 4–8 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience Strong understanding ofLinux internals , system boot process, runlevels, and systemd Experience inPacemaker cluster setup and troubleshooting Scripting expertise inBash/Shell. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and application issues Good verbal and writtencommunication skills Willingness to work inrotational shifts .Preferred Certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)/Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA)
