Job description

Jd for Paramedic Staff

Emergency Response : Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide on-site medical care. Patient Assessment : Assess patient conditions, take vital signs, and determine appropriate treatment. Medical Treatment : Administer lifesaving treatments, such as CPR, defibrillation, wound care, oxygen therapy, and medication. Patient Transportation : Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities while monitoring their condition during transit. Communication : Relay critical patient information to hospital staff and coordinate with other emergency response teams. Equipment Management : Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including stretchers, monitors, and defibrillators. Documentation : Accurately document patient information, treatments provided, and incident details for medical records. Public Education : Participate in community health education programs and promote safety awareness when required. Professional Standards : Adhere to medical protocols, ethical guidelines, and safety regulations. Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals, paramedics, and emergency personnel.

Qualifications

Completion of a certified Paramedic program (Diploma or Degree). Valid certification/licensure as a Paramedic in (relevant location). Proven experience in emergency medical services or related fields. Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols and procedures. Physical fitness and ability to perform in high-pressure situations. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license (if applicable).

Working Conditions

Work in a variety of environments, including outdoor, high-stress, and unpredictable conditions. Long hours, including potential for night shifts and extended emergencies. Frequent physical activity, including lifting patients and equipment.
