This role is crafted for a high-velocity engineer with hacker DNA and an "always-on" mentality—someone who will ignite a culture of speed, quality, and relentless execution. Your superpower lies in wielding AI tools and automation to move fast without sacrificing excellence. While the existing team brings a methodical and structured approach, this hire will be the catalyst for a shift—infusing urgency, experimentation, and a builder's obsession into the company's core rhythm. • Operate as a velocity-driven front-end builder, obsessed with rapidly shipping user-facing experiences that feel magical and robust.
• Use AI-powered tools to dramatically accelerate development speed—writing, refactoring, and testing code at a pace that sets the bar for the rest of the team.
• Own end-to-end implementation across React and emerging front-end technologies (React Native, Electron, etc.)—learning on the fly, hacking together solutions, and iterating fast.
• Work directly with founders and technical leads to drive architectural choices that favor momentum and resilience over theoretical perfection.
• Ignore red tape. Drive impact. Prioritize momentum. You'll be expected to work like a co-founder: always on, highly resourceful, and unwilling to wait for perfect specs.
• Push a culture of relentless speed and experimentation—be the spark that redefines what "fast" means for the team.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience with web-based technologies

• Critical ability to vibe-code using AI-based tools/IDEs (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate development velocity.
• Strong communication skills (Slack + Loom) with a tendency to over-communicate to help with remote-team collaboration
• Strong expertise in front-end development, particularly in React.
• Experience or familiarity with React Native and Electron is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
• Proficient in using GIT version control system.
• Knowledge of Relational databases/NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI pair programming to ship features at 3-5x traditional development speed.
