About the Role :We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior/Mid-Level Node.js Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this fast-paced, onsite environment, you will be crucial in developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance backend applications and robust APIs. Your hands-on experience with Node.js and a good understanding of modern backend architecture will be essential to your success.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain server-side web application logic using Node.js and related frameworks like Express.js.- Design, build, and consume high-quality, performant, and reliable APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) for internal and external use.- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Contribute to the design and implementation of backend architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize performance and stability.- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.- Actively participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.- Manage tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, onsite team environment.Required Skills and Experience :- 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.- Strong, hands-on experience developing applications using Node.js.- Proven experience working with APIs, including development, design, and integration (e.g., REST, JSON).- Solid experience with Express.js and/or other related Node.js web application frameworks (e.g., Koa, NestJS).- Good understanding of backend architecture principles, including microservices, MVC, database schemas, and caching mechanisms.- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.- Ability to work full-time in an on-site setting, collaborating directly with team members.
