Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of data scientists while driving data-driven decision-making across projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with XML and other tools essential for advanced data analysis, modeling, and visualization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Develop and implement advanced data models and algorithms to solve business challenges.
  • Utilize XML and other data manipulation tools for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of data pipelines and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and integrate them into workflows.
  • Design and deploy scalable machine learning models and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience 8 – 10 years in data science, with a focus on team leadership.
  • Strong expertise in XML for data parsing, transformation, and integration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Solid experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or others).
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in leading cross-functional data science teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certifications in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
