How you will contribute:


  • Develop and implement the Project & Field Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO / applicable Standards.
  • Monitor and conduct regular audits and inspections of project sites, materials, and equipment to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
  • Timely submission of Weekly Progress Report (WPR) or Construction Book , Non-conformity Report (NCR), Project Quality Register(PQR).
  • Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality lapses including the closure of NCRs.
  • Resolution of quality-related problems at the site with the concurrence of client, if any. Conducting the Management Review Meetings at site for resolution of problems at site, if any.
  • Cary out inspection for erection methodology and testing for all electrical equipment and ensures construction activity at the site are as per approved Method of Statement (MOS) and Field Quality (FQP) and testing plan.
  • To ensure the erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment as per approved FQP or OEM installation and testing guidelines.
  • Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure the safe execution of the project.
  • Maintaining the proper record of quality documents for every activity such as calibration certificates, Field quality plan, (FQP) and checklists submitted by EPC for acceptance of work.
  • Preparation of project quality reports and punch list with appropriate mitigation techniques to get the compliance report from EPC for smooth handover of the project.
  • Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans to address potential quality issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics related to quality, identifying trends and implementing strategies to improve overall quality levels.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for staff regarding quality control processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar technology, implementing best practices to optimize quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee preparation of the Project Supply Quality Plans, Quality Control, Plans and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance to contractual requirements Lead development, implementation, maintenance, improvement of system, and processes that ensure the correct documentation/ information/ instructions and that changes are implemented on time.


Ideal skills for this role include:


  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Quality Management or a related field with Minimum 12+ years of experience in Quality Management & Control, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Knowledge of the software AutoCAD is mandatory and STAAD Pro awareness will be an extra advantage
  • Good communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports within the predefined deadline
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential quality issues
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant quality control software.
