The Deputy Finance Controller along-with the Controller will be leading end to end reporting and taxation of the organisation. The individual needs to demonstrate a true business partnering mindset provide Finance Support to Business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting & Internal ComplianceLead Compliance, Accounting and Taxation for the entityEnsure compliance with accounting policies under US GAAP and local GAAPEnsure conclusion of statutory audit with no qualifications and internal audits with no significant observations. Lead and ensure strong internal control environment in the organization. Implement strong accounting controls and drive standard work for month close, Balance Sheet reconciliations and exception reporting.Ensure timely accounting and compliance with all statutory obligations.Drive successful closure of Internal Audit / BS review actions for the legal entityDevelop accounting systems / ERP set-up to ensure compliance with all local regulations including tax requirements.Assist in management reporting. Taxation Ensure compliance with various Direct tax and indirect tax compliance requirements for the legal entity in a timely manner.Ensure Transfer Price complianceDrive and lead tax litigations for both direct tax and indirect matters in collaboration with tax consulting firms and cross-functional stakeholders.Business Support Support business projects for the company (eg: finance support for the shared service centre, Transitions, other adhoc projects etc.).Provision of ad-hoc information as requested and duties assigned by CFO and other stake holders.KEY REQUIREMENTChartered Accountant with 4-6 years of experience post qualificationStrong experience in Accounting & Taxation preferably in a manufacturing environmentGreat stakeholder management - good interpersonal communication skillsExpertise in various IT systems (SAP/ Micro strategy)Cross functional understanding of the work processes between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, HR Project Management lead with excellent analytical skillsProcess oriented, very focused and rigorousEEO OPPORTUNITIESWe offer equal employment opportunity to qualified individuals without regard to race, religion, colour, national origin, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
