We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hands-On End-to-End Technical #Architect for AI to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI architecture, data management, model development, and integration, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-tier AI systems within the #biopharma or #healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Architecture & Strategy:

  • Define and implement the overall #AI architecture and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI advancements and incorporate them into the architectural roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for #AI-driven innovation and efficiency.

Data Management & Integration:

  • Design and implement robust data management solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and security.
  • Develop data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering strategies to optimize AI model performance.

AI Model Development & Deployment:

  • Build, train, and deploy various AI models, including traditional machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models.
  • Fine-tune and optimize AI models for specific biopharma applications.
  • Seamlessly integrate AI models into existing biopharma workflows.

RAGs & API Development:

  • Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (#RAG) systems to enhance AI capabilities.
  • Expose RAGs as APIs to facilitate integration with other applications and systems.
  • Ensure API quality and reliability through structured API testing.

Front-End Design & Architecture:

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
  • Design and implement front-end architecture that supports AI-driven applications.
  • Ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement end-to-end authorization and authentication mechanisms to protect sensitive data and AI models.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Code Quality & DevOps/MLOps:

  • Enforce code quality standards and best practices through code reviews and analysis.
  • Implement DevOps and MLOps practices to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of AI solutions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the AI team.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and building complex AI solutions.
  • Deep expertise in traditional and generative AI, data management, API development, and front-end architecture.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI solutions within the biopharma or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and deploying RAG systems.
  • Expertise in structured API testing and automation.
  • Strong understanding of biopharma workflows and data.
  • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
