Job description: -

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with JCL, DBS, Mainframe, COBOL, and IMS.
• Familiarity with Java is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of various programming languages and architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, design, code, debug, maintain, and implement applications.
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new applications, including procedures, flowcharting, coding, and debugging programs.
• Maintain and utilize application and programming documentation throughout the development process.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards to improve efficiency and performance.
• Create appropriate deliverables and develop application implementation plans throughout the software development life cycle.
• Operate effectively in a flexible development environment, adapting to changing project requirements.
