Role Title : IT Head

Role Purpose :

We are looking for an experienced IT Lead to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions for our Customer in Metal and Mining Business. You will be in charge of a team and manage the companys technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.

The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company.

Working with :

(Reporting Relationship)

- Functional Reporting to Business CDIO

- Direct Reporting to Unit Delivery Head

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive IT Operation across Entities of Customer based out of Jharsuguda

- IT Service vendor management with SLAs

- Ensure smooth IT Site Operations and Management.

- Execute on Short term & Log term projects for IT

- Drive analytics with cross functional teams and partnership strategy through design, build approach.

- Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals

- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management

- Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs

- Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software

- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency

- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management

- Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance

- Control budget and report on expenditure

- Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

What we are looking for in you :

Primary Skills :

- Strong acumen on Cyber Security, VAPT, SOX, ISO 27001 :2013 and Data Governance audit handling & compliance management

- Proven experience as IT Lead or similar role

- Ability to be a multi-tasker and good project management and having competitive knowledge on business and technology

- Train and evolve organization complied with ITGC standard

- Strong IT service vendor management, achieve SLA and customer delight to end users

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Has business acumen & task oriented

- Domain knowledge on understanding the ITIL, driving governance of IT operations & application management

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Digital IT enabler

Good to have Skills :

- Knowledge on any Cloud technologies

- Manufacturing Industry knowledge or experience

- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Education :

Minimum Qualifications & Critical Exposure to Perform the Job at the Optimum Level :

- Minimum 18+ years of Experience

- Excellent communication abilities

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, Quick learner who is self-driven and has a passion to excel

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.

- B.Tech or B.E. or MCA oy any IT graduation streams from a recognized college or institute and have good marks in all degrees
