SAP EWM Functional Consultant (Contract Role)

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant for a contract position, requiring 5-8 years of overall experience with a minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

This remote role is open to candidates across PAN India and involves configuring and optimizing warehouse processes to support efficient supply chain operations within SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional aspects of SAP EWM implementations, including process design, configuration, and customization for inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and warehouse tasks.
  • Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP EWM functionalities, such as wave management, slotting, and labor management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EWM with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and TM.
  • Conduct blueprinting, testing, and go-live support for EWM projects, ensuring seamless data migration and user training.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues, optimize warehouse layouts, and implement enhancements for RF devices and automation.
  • Develop documentation, including functional specifications and process flows, to support project delivery.
  • Provide expertise in EWM master data setup, queue management, and integration with external systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in SAP EWM functional consulting.
  • Minimum 2 full end-to-end SAP EWM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EWM processes, including warehouse structure, stock handling, and replenishment strategies.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded EWM and integration tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in SAP EWM or related modules.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like SAP Solution Manager.
  • Prior experience in contract roles within logistics or manufacturing sectors.
