QA / Test Engineer – Digital Twin of ShipsLocation: Chennai, IndiaWork Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week from office)Job Grade: C2Experience Required: 10–12 yearsQualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineeringYour RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA / Test Engineer to join our Digital Twin of Ships team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automated testing and performance validation, who can ensure the reliability, accuracy, and robustness of complex simulation systems. You will play a critical role in validating system behavior and supporting continuous quality improvements.You profile- Validate system performance, reliability, and accuracy of digital twin simulations. - Design and implement automated test suites using industry-standard tools. - Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness. - Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. - Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to support agile workflows. - Identify, document, and track defects and ensure timely resolution. - Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance product quality. - Strong engineering background with 10–12 years of experience in QA and testing roles. - Proven experience in Digital Twin technologies, preferably in maritime or industrial domains.Proficiency in automated testing tools:- Selenium - Postman - Experience in performance and load testing methodologies. - Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.What You’ll Love About Working Here- Opportunity to work on innovative digital twin solutions in a high-impact domain. - Collaborative and quality-focused work culture. - Hybrid work model with flexibility. - Career growth and leadership opportunities in QA and testing.About UsAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
