Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro, with a fundamental understanding of Adobe After Effects. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves editing a variety of video content for multiple platforms, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with our brand’s visual and storytelling standards. You will be provided with a high-end MacBook or a high-end Windows laptop for video editing.Key Responsibilities:Video Editing:-Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro.-Apply basic color correction, audio mixing, and effects to enhance video quality.-Cut and organize footage to ensure a logical sequence and smooth running time.-Analyze video performance to identify what works and what doesn’t based on specific requirements.Motion Graphics:-Utilize Adobe After Effects for basic animations and motion graphics to add visual interest to videos.-Create and integrate text overlays, lower thirds, and simple transitions.Cinematography:-Understand basic cinematography and be able to shoot videos if required in the office or other locations.Content Specifics:-Brand Videos: Focus on creativity, storytelling, visuals, and crisp messaging.-Performance Ads: Ensure a strong hook in the first 5 seconds, use crisp lines and script, fast-paced visuals, and convey messaging aligned with the campaign objective.-Social Media Videos (Reels & Shorts): Aim for virality, create engaging and appealing content that encourages repeated viewing, and incorporate social media effects and transitions.-E-commerce Products: Produce review videos, recipe videos, how-to videos, promotional videos, and podcasts for our e-commerce products.Project Collaboration:-Work closely with content creators and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.-Provide input on creative concepts and contribute to brainstorming sessions.-Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing and motion graphics.Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field preferred.-2+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing work.-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Apple Final Cut Pro and basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.-Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and file management.-Understanding of color grading, audio synchronization, and basic effects.-Basic knowledge of cinematography and ability to shoot videos as needed.Creative Skills:-Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail.-Good sense of timing, rhythm, and pace in video editing.-Basic knowledge of graphic design and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.-Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate or agency setting.What We Offer:-A dynamic and innovative work environment at a leading health-tech startup.-Opportunities for professional growth and development.-A chance to contribute to creative projects that make a significant impact in the health and fitness space.-High-end MacBook or high-end Windows laptop for video editing.-Collaboration with a passionate and creative team.Join us in our mission to Healthify a Billion Lives by creating visually captivating and engaging video content that inspires and motivates people to lead healthier, happier lives Apply now and be a part of our creative journey.
